Swimnote is a simple, free notes tool. This is what it collects and why — in plain terms.
What we collect
- Account info from Google sign-in — your email address and name, used only to identify your account.
- Your content — the lanes and notes you create.
How it's used
Only to provide the service: to show you your board and keep it across sessions. We don't sell your data, show ads, or use it for anything else.
Storage
Your data is stored in a Google Cloud PostgreSQL database and served from Google Cloud Run. A signed, http-only cookie keeps you signed in.
Sharing
Nothing is shared unless you create a share link for a lane. Those links are read-only, expire, and can be revoked by you at any time — anyone holding an active link can read that lane until it expires.
Your data & deletion
You can trash notes to remove them from your board. To delete your account and all of its data, email the address below and we'll remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above will be updated.
